Safety 2018 Ambassador Volunteer Form - Due March 1

Thank you for your interest in being an Ambassador at Safety 2018 in San Antonio, Sunday, June 3 to Wednesday, June 6, 2018. 
 
Benefits consist of:
  • Being a part of the excitement and aiding in making Safety 2018 a success  
  • Playing an integral role in the way of assisting attendees throughout the conference 
  • Providing additional support to ASSE staff on-site
  • Being visible and providing answers to questions from the attendees
  • Promoting an overall positive experience for the attendees
  • Volunteer a minimum of 2 hours, and you are eligible to receive $100 gift certificate to ASSE Store at Safety 2018 
  • Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours, and you are eligible to receive $250 discount off Safety 2018 registration or a $250 gift certificate to ASSE store at Safety 2018
Responsibilities consist of:
  • ​Volunteer a minimum of 2 (or 4) hours (shifts range from 1 to 2 hours on Sunday, June 3 through Tuesday, June 5 of the conference)
  • Participation and completion of the Ambassador Team Orientation Webinar that provides helpful hints and information to know prior to arriving at Safety 2018 
  • Participating in the Ambassador Team Pep Rally on Sunday, June 3 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
  • Familiarize yourself with the Ambassador packet on-site that consists of your most up-to-date schedule of events, maps of Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, and the ambassador schedule and locations assigned throughout the convention center
  • Wearing an ambassador identification so attendees can get answers 
  • Directing attendees to the main events such as the general sessions, exhibit hall, lunches, concurrent sessions and much more at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
  • Welcoming attendees at the main conference hotels at the ASSE welcome tables set-up near the main lobbies​
  • Be friendly and knowledgeable with a smiling face
Requirements to participate:
  • Must be an ASSE member
  • Must be a conference registrant
  • Ambassador discounts cannot be applied on top of any other discount.  If you do not wish to receive the discount or are already receiving another discount, and you are still interested in being an Ambassador, please advise and tell us how many hours you are willing to volunteer with your preferences below.  
 
Process:
STEP 1:  Complete the online volunteer form at http://asse.safety2018ambassadorvolunteerform.sgizmo.com/s3/. 
                The form is due by Thursday, March 1, 2018.
STEP 2:  Upon receipt of this online form, ASSE will confirm participation and provide you with further instructions.
STEP 3:  In May, you will receive an email with your assignments. You will be asked to confirm by return email.
STEP 4:  Complete the Ambassador Team Orientation Webinar prior to arriving at Safety 2018.  
STEP 5:  Attend the Ambassador Team Pep Rally to be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Sunday, June 3, 2018.
STEP 6:  $100 gift certificate given to ASSE store at Safety 2018 for 2 hour minimum volunteer time.
STEP 7:  $250 gift certificate given to ASSE store at Safety 2018 or $250 discount applied to your Safety 2018 registration for 4 hour minimum volunteer time.
